11. Shoulder shrug is an exercises designed for the upper trapezius muscle, which extends from the back of the shoulders to the vertebrae. However, this exercise is absolutely worthless because if you develop those bulging upper trapezius muscles, you will look like Arnold Schwarzenegger gone wrong. Also, have in mind that you are moving your shoulders only a few inches, which means that you are not working out so much.
